White House, FBI Investigate Missing Scientists: National Security Concerns

Share:

The U. S. government is actively investigating the mysterious disappearances and deaths of at least ten scientists and government employees who had access to classified nuclear and aerospace information. The White House confirmed it is working with the FBI and other relevant agencies to review these cases and identify any potential connections. The investigation aims to address growing concerns about potential threats to national security.

The disappearances and deaths, spanning the past several years, involve individuals with expertise in sensitive areas such as nuclear technology, space research, and aerospace engineering. Among the missing is retired Air Force Maj. Gen. William "Neil" McCasland, who vanished in February. Also missing is Monica Jacinto Reza, a rocket scientist who disappeared while hiking in June 2025.

The House Oversight Committee has also launched an investigation, seeking information from federal agencies regarding the deaths and disappearances. Committee Chairman James Comer emphasized the need to protect American scientific secrets and ensure personnel safety. The FBI is conducting link analysis to identify relationships between the individuals, organizations, and any digital objects involved.

While authorities have not confirmed any connections between the cases, the investigations are ongoing, with the White House vowing to leave no stone unturned. President Trump acknowledged the seriousness of the situation, stating that he hopes the cases are random but that the government will be looking into them. The probe is expected to continue in the coming weeks.
