His new contract reportedly carries an average annual value of $8.5 million, totaling $68 million over its duration.
The acquisition of Raddysh is part of a busy offseason for the Maple Leafs, who also recently acquired defenseman Emil Andrae and goaltender Samuel Ersson from the Philadelphia Flyers. Chayka expressed confidence in Raddysh's ability to contribute immediately, stating, "We are thrilled to add a defenseman of Darren's caliber to our organization."
