Thompson RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating 22-year-old Raynen Merasty, who has been missing since Tuesday. Merasty was last seen around 1:30 p. m. on April 21 and has not returned home.
Merasty is known to frequent the communities of Grand Rapids, Lynn Lake, and Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation. RCMP have issued a news release expressing concern for her well-being. She is described as five feet, seven inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, she was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes.
The Thompson RCMP are urging anyone with information regarding Merasty's whereabouts to contact them at 204-677-6909. The RCMP regularly posts updates on missing persons in the Thompson area, and have recently reported the safe location of missing individuals in separate incidents in February and March.
