RCMP Seeks Public's Help Identifying Border Suspects

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Federal Eastern Region Border Integrity Unit is asking for the public's help in identifying two individuals who were observed engaged in suspicious activity near the Canada-U. S. border in Saint-Leonard, New Brunswick. The incident occurred on May 30, 2026, when the two individuals were seen walking along the border.

Police have released photographs of the individuals, believed to be men, wearing toques, warm jackets, rain boots, and carrying backpacks. The RCMP is urging anyone who recognizes the individuals or has any information related to this investigation to contact the New Brunswick RCMP at 1-888-506-RCMP (7267). Residents are also encouraged to report any suspicious activity observed near the border to the police.

The RCMP also reminds the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity they witness near the border. Information can be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), via the secure P3 Mobile App, or through secure web tips at www. crimenb. ca. The investigation is ongoing.
