Aube-Kubel, who was a second-round pick by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2014, has played for numerous NHL teams, including the Flyers, Avalanche, Toronto Maple Leafs, Washington Capitals, Buffalo Sabres, New York Rangers, and Minnesota Wild. While he showcased flashes of offensive ability, particularly during his stint with the Avalanche where he contributed 11 goals and 22 points in 67 games during the 2021-22 season, he was often utilized in a bottom-six role. His NHL career totals stand at 32 goals and 50 assists for 82 points in 310 regular-season games, along with three points in 30 playoff contests.
