The Winnipeg Jets suffered a disappointing 4-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Canada Life Centre. The Jets, who had been riding a three-game win streak and a six-game point streak, were stifled by a strong Ducks performance and their own offensive struggles.
After a scoreless first period, Morgan Barron managed to put the Jets ahead early in the second. However, the Ducks responded with three goals in just 104 seconds, turning the game on its head. Tim Washe, Ryan Poehling, and Alex Killorn all scored in quick succession, giving Anaheim a commanding lead they would not relinquish. Jackson LaCombe added an empty-net goal late in the game to seal the victory for the Ducks.
Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck faced a barrage of shots, stopping 30 of 33, but the Jets' offense could only muster 13 shots on Ducks goalie Lukas Dostal. Dostal, continuing his strong run of form, saved 12 of those 13 shots. A bright spot for the Jets was Josh Morrissey, who played his 720th game, surpassing Toby Enstrom for the most games played by a defenseman in Jets franchise history. The Ducks' victory completed a three-game series sweep of Winnipeg. The Jets will look to rebound as they host the New York Rangers on Thursday.
