Canadian sprinters have delivered impressive performances at the World Athletics Relays in Gaborone, Botswana, securing qualification for four relay teams at the 2027 World Athletics Championships in Beijing. The men's 4x100-metre relay team, featuring Andre De Grasse, Aaron Brown, Brendon Rodney, and Jerome Blake, led the way with a world-leading time of 37.56 seconds in their qualifying heat. This earned them automatic qualification and a spot in the finals.

The mixed 4x100-metre team, composed of Eliezer Adjibi, Marie-Éloise Leclair, Duan Asemota, and Audrey Leduc, also had a strong showing. They briefly set a world record with a time of 40.07 seconds, before Jamaica broke the record minutes later. Despite this, the Canadian quartet qualified for the World Championships.

The women's 4x100m team, consisting of Sade McCreath, Donna Ntambue, Marie-Éloise Leclair, and Audrey Leduc, also secured their place at the World Championships with a season-best time of 42.39 seconds. These results highlight Canada's strength in sprint relays, building on a decade of success that includes multiple Olympic podium finishes and world titles.
