A powerful spring storm is set to impact east-central and southeastern Alberta, bringing with it the potential for strong winds and significant precipitation. Environment Canada issued a special weather statement on Tuesday, advising residents to take precautions ahead of the storm, which is expected to arrive on Thursday.
The weather agency forecasts wind gusts reaching up to 100 km/h, which could cause damage to roofs, fences, and other structures.
